There is an amazing family in Boise Idaho that is currently embarking on a life saving mission to rescue a little boy from a life spent in an institution. Little Arnold is just 4 years old, has down syndrome and currently resides in an orphanage in Eastern Europe. Had Arnold not been saved by The Preece Family, he would have been sent to an adult institution at the age of 5. Institution life is heartbreaking. Nobody holds the children, plays with them, or even dresses, bathes, or feeds them consistently. Many of these little ones die within 18 months of being transferred, just from sheer neglect. Check out what my wonderful friend is doing to help this little boy and see how you can help and enter to win this playhouse!

My husband and I along with some wonderful friends have refurbished a playhouse to raffle off in an effort to raise some much needed funding for The Preeces. Out Little Red Riding Hood Cottage is now looking for a new home! For just $5 each, you can purchase a raffle ticket. Or you can buy 5 tickets for $20. We are drawing a winner on August 10th at 8pm here in Boise at Peppermint Park.

You can now purchase raffle tickets for The LIttle Red Riding Hood Cottage online. We have figured out a way to do this so that those of you who live outside of Boise, or who I cannot get tickets to in person can still enter to win.

Just follow these 2 easy steps

1. Click on the heart below to make a donation through paypal directly into Arnold’s adoption grant.

2. Then email me at boisesrainbow@gmail.com with how much you donated and the name you would like on your tickets. I will then fill out your tickets and email you a confirmation.

Thats it! Also, for any of you that aren’t really interested in winning the playhouse (no kids at home, live out of state, etc.) we have had a few families write Arnolds name on their tickets! What a sweet idea.
