My favorite online store, Amazon, has a new program out – Amazon Mom! You sign up and they send you special deals and offers just for Moms – or for anyone who acts in the role of caregiver for kids. :-) One of the main draws appears to the free Amazon Prime membership (free for three months, and you earn extra months by buying $25 in product out of the baby store section of the site). Unfortunately Prime doesn’t do much for Alaska, but… I signed up anyway. They said they’ll be sending out special offers, so I figure it can’t hurt. Plus? My Prime membership means free shipping upgrades for anything I send to friends/family in the lower 48. Not quite as satisfying as that super quick shipping all the way to ME, but hey – it IS free!
