Walgreens Deals Week of 8/8

Once again, it’s… a back to school heavy sale week!  I think I for one will be glad when school actually starts and we see something else in the ads! Very few Register Rewards in the ad.   I’ve seen rumors, on message boards, that maybe Register Rewards are being phased out as they do more trials with their new Customer Appreciation card programs? Who knows.  Time will tell?!

Most of the schools collect box tops. Each one is worth .10. So a cert. for 30 would be worth $3.00 to a school. There are lots of bonus box top opportunities this time of year. I’d encourage anyone to save boxtops and give them to a student to bring to school. At many schools the PTA runs the program and at some others it’s teachers. Every school varies but most would love the Box Tops.

My daughter’s school collects boxtops. It’s always nice to see what the school is able to get with them.
