Apparently that $10/$20 purchase Kmart coupon was intended for NYC email recipients only. Kmart neglected to put that information on their coupon so this coupon was not fraudulent, it was simply labeled poorly and now Kmart is instructing all of their stores not to honor it. It is frustrating that everyone else has to deal with Kmart’s own poor handling of the situation but I wanted to make sure that everyone was aware and didn’t waste time trying to use it. Again, the error was Kmart’s, not everyone else’s so you would be totally correct in expressing your frustration with their Customer Service Department.
