Today’s word of the day: Register Reward (RR)
A Register Reward is a coupon that may print out at the Catalina machine at Walgreens after you pay. Certain items will trigger a RR to print and often these deals are listed in the ads but sometimes they aren’t. A Register Reward can be used like cash to pay for an item. However, you cannot use an RR to pay for an item that falls under the same deal where you got the original RR or else another one will not print. You cannot use a Register Reward on a transaction which costs less than the value of the RR; Walgreens will not give you money back and the RR will not scan unless the amount owed exceed the amount you are paying by using the RR.
