Commissary Community Deals

We have decided to start doing a new weekly post where we can have our readers leave comments letting us know bout good deals going on at the commissary or hot items that we may want to print off coupons for to take with us.  I would love to do a full coupon match up every week but since there is no commissary ad (that I know of) and I am not able to go write down every sale, this will be the best we can do for now.  Let me know if you have any suggestions on how to make this better.

I noticed this week that Del Monte Canned fruit is about $.85/ can (I can’t remember exactly).  Here is a coupon for $1/4 Del Monte Products which would bring your total down to about $.60 each.  Canned Dole pineapple is also about $.85/ can which you can use with this coupon:
$0.55/2 Dole Pineapple Cans, exp. 5-31-10 (Good Housekeeping Feb ’10)
Making your total  $1.15 for 2!

If you have noticed any great sales or awesome coupon match ups, please leave a comment below!  Thanks!

There is a commissary ad it only comes out once a month. I'll be on the look out for it, as I think I already trashed mine. :(

they post commissary sales here….but they don't always match up with AK. I've noticed that sometimes we might still get the sale, but on different dates. Then sometimes we do have it…haven't checked it enough each month to figure out the pattern.

I was surprised to read that some people have been able to use a "military" coupon with a Manuf coupon…..the military coupons are manuf coupons, and weren't accepted together at my previous base. You can also find hanging coupons that don't say military store only.

THANKS! PG Bransaver has $1 off Ivory soap bar packs or bodywash. Ivory 3 bar packs are only $1.03 so after coupon they are only 3 cents each plus tax. They should also still have the $.75/2 Ocean Spray Juices and the BIG cranberry juices are only $1.99 which is already a fantastic deal.

This is a great idea!!! Went to Commissary Thursday and got quick cook and old fashioned oatmeals for .95 for free w/ $1 off coupon :) Also got YoPlus for free w/ $1 off coupon. I do wish they had ads though to help w/ coupon matching. Lets keep this going!

The starkist tuna pouches were $1 yesterday for the smaller ones and if you had the $1/1 printed coupon, that makes them free. I use the coupons on the larger pouches which made them like 82 cents. The larger pouches are 3 times the size of the smaller ones.

FYI There is a sign posted in the commissary that they will no longer accept man. coupons and mil. coupons for the same thing. They also will not accept any coupons printed off the target website with their logo on them even if they are man. coupons.

I went to the commersary yesterday 1/16 and bought the smaller hormel hams for .82cents! There is a 3.00$ coupon on the hams. Stick them on the freezer and they will last for a long time. Great breakfast meat.

Awesome! Thanks so much for starting this! I just wanted to let everyone know that I have been able to double up by using manufacturer coupons with the military coupons. Can't beat double the savings!
