This week, thanks to generosity of the Pepper Mill crew, we have a $50 gift card for their restaurant to give away to one of our readers!Have you heard of the Pepper Mill? It’s located in midtown, off of C street between 36th and Tudor. If you haven’t heard of it maybe you’ve heard of the restaurant that it “shares” a building (and a kitchen!) with – The Sea Galley. The Pepper Mill has been around for quite a few years, but in the past few years they’ve changed up the menu and atmosphere. If you were there 10 years ago and remember it as formal and expensive, you should check it out again. It’s now quite family friendly, great for the sports crowd also, and has a number of very affordable options on the menu.
Nichole and I had the chance to take our husbands out on a date night there, on the house, to try out their food so we could offer our opinion on it. The servings are huge! We tried not to eat too much, but even so we didn’t have room for dessert – sadness, if you ask me. Delicious fries, orange creamsicle drinks, steaks, pizza, salads… I’m still full thinking of it. The presentation of the food was lovely, the portions were quite generous, and it was all very tasty. They make everything from scratch, which I’m sure is a big part of what makes it so delicious. 2 thumbs up!
They have salads (we had the candied pecan strawberry salad), pizzas, steaks, burgers, sandwiches, and a great appetizers menu. What’s more? Did you know you can order off of the Sea Galley menu while you’re in the Pepper Mill? I didn’t!
Pizza is one of their specialties. They have delicious homemade crusts – and you can choose from white or whole wheat, if you’re looking to make it a little healthier. We tried the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and loved it. Want to try their pizza? We have a Coupon Diva exclusive for you! Go in on Thursday night (after 5 and before closing), and order any regular size 2 topping pizza, eat in, for only $5. Great deal! Come back Tuesday for the printable coupon, then head over on a Thursday this month.
Their regular specials include:
*Monday – Wednesday from 5-7p $5 apps
*Sunday morning buffet (for football) 9am-10am *All day Sunday…$5 pizzas
*$12 NY steaks with fries (served all the time)
And, a little more about what they have to offer:
*Tons of big screen TV’s
*Large deck (for summer)
*NHL Center Ice (so we get ALL games) and Aces and UAA away games!
* NFL Sunday Ticket (we get ALL games)
*Direct TV
Ok. Whew. That was a lot of information, thanks for sticking with me through it – I really did enjoy this place.
So how to enter our giveaway, so you can try out the place for free?
