I’m very excited about both of today’s fun giveaways that we have, they are open to our readers from all over the country! First, we have a giveaway from one of my favorite scrapbooking sites online: Be Creative, run by Deena. Deena is one of those super creative people who’s always putting together the type of gorgeous paper creations that I just wish I could! I read her blog for my dose of daily inspiration. Check it out, here. In addition to her fun blog, Deena has an online store front – Creative Cards Homeschool. She sells card kits, which provide you with all the different pieces needed to put together some fun homemade cards. You can check out some of the kits here. Here’s some info, from her, on what her store provides!
Creative Cards Homeschool is a monthly card kit club. What sets our kits apart from the rest is that all the hard work is done for you. How long do you spend looking at a stack of supplies wondering what to do with them, where to put this or how to use that? Creative Cards solves that… the ideas are already thought out for you (not that you can’t make it your own) and everything comes cut to size, glittered, punched, stamped, inked, etc. All you have to do is look at the picture and glue it together. Oh and then of course ENJOY! But don’t think for a moment that these kits aren’t packed full of interesting new products, the latest papers and plenty of ideas to keep the experienced crafter interested.Check out our site and learn more, our brand new November kit are now available. This months kit includes a bonus jingle bell gift card holder, perfect for the holidays.
Deena has generously given us 2 of her November card kits (pictured above) to giveaway to you! In addition to her monthly “homeschool” card kits she has tons of themed kits – too cute, seriously. Check them out here.
Next up, we have a 1 year subscription to Relish! Relish is an online menu planning assistant. Every week they provide you with a list of 20 or so different meals. Just select the ones that sound good to you, tell them about how many people you’ll be feeding, and they’ll provide you with printable shopping lists, recipes, and prep tips. They focus on relatively cheap food, with fun new recipes that all take 30 minutes or less to prep.
They gave me a code to try their site out for a month, and I was impressed with what they did for the Thanksgiving Meal – they had a choice of 3 different complete dinner plans, and then based on what you picked they provide a “map”, if you will, of when to do what. Day before – prep. Day of – in the morning, start x. 1 hour before start y. Etc. They’ve done a nice job with their site, and if you love to cook I’m sure you’d enjoy checking it out.

I have only done a little scrapbooking, it is very time consuming, but when you get the finished product it is something for you to cherish for years to come.

I like to bake, or make a meal just like grandma used to cook for her family. Can't go wrong with family recipes.
I love everything about Scrapbooking…saving the memories, being creative and all the colors and patterns.
